FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device is designed for fixing spent fuel assemblies, positioned for long term storage, in storehouses, with slatted beam floors or factories for reprocessing spent nuclear fuel. The device comprises a pair of clamps with a U-shaped cross section, fitted on beams of a slit-type passage. The device also has a screw pair in form of a threaded opening and a threaded rod, interacting simultaneously with the clamps, as well as a clamping plate and cover plate, with a serial number. At the point of fixing the cover plate, there is a sealing device. There is increased safety of the storehouse under emergency situations when fitting suspension members with spent fuel assembly holders for long storage due to reliable fixing of the suspension members.
EFFECT: increased safety of the storehouse under emergency situations when fitting suspension members with spent fuel assembly holders for long storage.
