FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology.
SUBSTANCE: following criteria are evaluated with scores: quantity of wound discharge in external acoustic meatus, degree of deflection, edema, hyperemia, transparency, vascularisation, epithelialisation, mass of granulation tissue and fibrosis, as well as presence of neotympanic membrane reperforation during post-operation period after tympanoplasty. The scores are summarised and the conclusion of "favourable prognosis" or "unfavourable prognosis" is made on the ground of this sum.
EFFECT: possibility to estimate the degree of evidence and dynamics of neotympanic membrane acceptance within chronic otitis media after tympanoplasty appears.
