SUBSTANCE: ageing speed of patient with type 2 diabetes is prognosed by determining body weight index, atherogenic index of plasma, examining activity of peroxidase and peroxide resistance of erythrocyte, probability calculation of ageing speed is carried out according to the method of logistic regression by formulas: for slow ageing: y₁=e^{11.990+0.591 PRE-0.585AIP-0.293 BWI-0.141 AP}/(1+e^{11.990+0.591 PRE-0.585AIP-0.293 BWI-0.141 AP}); for speed up ageing: y₂=e^{2.048-0.118 PRE-0.515AIP+0.006 BWI+0.044 AP}/(1+e^{2.048-0.118 PRE-0.515AIP+0.006 BWI+0.044 AP}); where: - PRE - peroxide resistance of erythrocyte; AIP - atherogenic index of plasma; BWI - body weight index; AP - activity of peroxidase. Thereafter, the speed of physiological ageing is calculated by formula: y₃=1-y₁-y₂. Whereupon, ageing speed of patient is prognosed on the basis of the largest value.

EFFECT: accuracy enhancement of prognosis and possibility to refer a patient with type II diabetes correctly to a particular group of people.
