FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves examining eye fundus blood vessels by applying direct ophthalmoscopy approach. Eye fundus and macular blood vessel pathology is found as hypertonic blood vessel angiopathy combined with maculodystrophy. Biomicroscopic examination is carried out to detect pinguecula available on anterior eyeball segment. Schirmer test is carried out for determining tear production reduction.
EFFECT: high accuracy in diagnosing latent diabetes mellitus based on pathological deviations data.
