FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: flow of the first liquid, raffinate phase, is supplied along line 3 to chamber 1, and flow of the second liquid, extract phase, is supplied along line 4 into chamber 2. Due to energy of flows exchange medium, extractant, is supplied to chambers 1 and 2 from settling tanks 5 and 6 through lines 7 and 8. At that in case, when density of exchange medium is lower than densities of raffinate and extract phases, descending direct flow of phases is organised in chambers, in which light drops of exchange medium are carried down by flows of solid phase - phases of raffinate and extract, accordingly. Moving together with flow of solid phase, drops of exchange medium simultaneously execute motion that is directed opposite in relation to solid phase.
EFFECT: simplification of mass exchange between flows of two liquids and higher efficiency.
