FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: low-carbon steel with carbon content of not more than 0.007%, microalloyed with carbonitride-forming elements, is rolled on continuous broad-band rolling mill with two groups of reels in strip with thickness of 2.5-6 mm. Conditions for formation of similar mechanical properties in finished rolled products of different thickness at the stage of strip cooling prior to its reeling in roll in process of hot rolling at broad-strip rolling mill with two groups of reels are provided by the fact that after rolling in the last cage of mill on discharging roller bed for strips with thickness of less than 3.2 mm inclusive, its surface is cooled with water, beginning time of which is determined from mathematical expression. After rolling of strip with thickness of less than 3.2 mm inclusive the first group of reels is reeled in roll, and strips with thickness of more than 3.2 mm are reeled in roll on the second group of reels without preliminary cooling with water in discharging roller bed.
EFFECT: higher formability for further manufacture of parts by method of cold sheet stamping.
