FIELD: mechanics; electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention can find application for welding of the oxidated and rusty metal, stainless steel, aluminium and other nonferrous metals, both on variable, and on a direct current. By the first version the start button (SB) is placed on the case of the electrode arm. The diode is connected by the anode to an exit of a RC-chain and the cathode connected to the first input of the block of shaping of impulses of excitation (BSIE). The RC-chain is connected through the SB to a secondary winding of the reducing transformer (RD). BSIE output is linked with an exit of a primary winding of the impulse transformer (IT) which input is connected to an exit of a RC-chain and the second BSIE input. The output of secondary winding IT is connected to the electrode arm clip, and an input - with the power supply clip of the welding arc (SC). The key is performed on the second version with possibility of switching of the device for operation on fixed or an alternating current. At operation on an alternating current to clips IP by means of a key the first RC-chain is connected, in parallel which through the start button BSIE is connected, its one output is connected to an output of the primary winding IT which input is connected to second BSIE output and a key output. At operation on a direct current secondary IT winding is connected in parallel to the second RC-line-up and inputs of the diode the bridge. The positive output of the bridge is connected through a key and SB to one of the BSIE inputs, and its negative output - through a key with other BSIE input. The BSIE output is connected to an output of the primary winding IT which input is connected to second BSIE input. The output of the secondary winding IT is connected to the clip of the electrode arm, and its input - with IP.

EFFECT: simplification of a design and efficiency increase.
