FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: system for coke removal out of coke drum contains rotating combined boring bar 52, which has engine, cutting head 54, inner 34a and outer 36a pipes. Boring bar 52 descends into coke drum. Water jets are shot under pressure from single or multiple nozzles 57 for boring hole shaft in coke drum. Second group of nozzles 58 is intended for shooting water jets under pressure perpendicularly to boring bar 52, cutting off and removal of remaining part f coke from coke drum. By means of switch valve, located at distance from cutting head 54, simultaneous supply of water to nozzles 57 and 58 is prevented. Valve can be controlled by central processor, distantly from control panel, or manually by operator. Marks, informing operator about passing of liquid into pipes 34a or 36a can be additionally attached to valve. Operator can distantly switch process from boring mode to cutting mode without removing boring bar 52 from coke drum and distantly determine its operation mode.

EFFECT: efficiency, safety and convenience of process, reduction of its duration, prevention of emergency situations.
