SUBSTANCE: method of determining the working state of a component during slow coking involves the following steps. First, a measuring transducer is put into a slow coking unit. The measuring transducer is put in that place which enables obtaining an output signal characterised by movement in the said place. A vibration sensor then generates an output signal which characterises the working state of the component associated with slow coking. After that, the signal from the vibration sensor is then received in the measuring transducer on a coke drum. The measuring transducer enables generation of an output signal which reflects the working state of the component associated with slow coking. Further, the output signal from the measuring transducer is received in a computer which is configured to convert the said output signal into a signature. Further, the output signal is processed and the working state is determined from the obtained processed output signal.
EFFECT: high efficiency of determining the level of coke, high efficiency of the coke cutting process.
