FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes charging of scrap metal into furnace, pouring with liquid cast iron, carbon oxidation by oxygen gas, dephosphorisation, further steel discharge into ladle with furnace slag shutoff and leaving of 10-15% from total weight of liquid metal in furnace, feeding into ladle slag-forming mixture and ferroalloys. It is introduced into composition of charging iron-containing concentrate of fraction 80-300 mm and iron mass fraction not less than 75% in amount 3-8% from charging weight.
EFFECT: cost saving, reduction of melting duration, increasing of steel dephosphorisation degree.
