FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes charging of scrap metal into furnace, hot metal pouring, carbon oxidation by oxygen gas, dephosphorisation, following steel discharge into ladle with furnace slag cutoff and reservation of molten metal part in furnace, feeding into ladle of slagging mixture and ferroalloys. During the period of carbon oxidation by oxygen gas into furnace there are added fraction bricks till 100 mm in amount 15-60 kg/ton of molten steel, containing, wt %: gas purification dust of electric furnace steelmaking 30-70; ferrous materials scale 1-25; breeze coke screening 1-15; ladle slag of electric furnace steelmaking 5-45. Collected dust of gas purification of electric furnace steelmaking is reused when in use till receiving of content in it ZnO no less than 40%.
EFFECT: steel cost saving, receiving of gas purification dust of electric furnace steelmaking with high content of ZnO for the following receiving of zinc.
