SUBSTANCE: invention refers to applied physics. Method consists that analysed sample is exposed to thermal pulses from point mobile energy source. First thermal detector takes temperature of blackbody simulator. Thereafter the same thermal detector takes temperature of analysed sample. Evaluation of the first thermal pulse repetition frequency is followed with started relocation of first thermal detector from hot spot centre in the line of the source towards lagging. The second thermal detector is relocated from hot spot centre in the line perpendicular to direction of the source. The third additional thermal detector is relocated from hot spot centre in the line of the source towards leading. Heat-release area and average excess surface temperature of heated body are measured with the first thermal pulse repetition frequency. Evaluation of the second thermal pulse repetition frequency is followed by measurement procedures described above.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of materials themophysical properties testing.
