FIELD: technical physics. SUBSTANCE: according to method of contact-free nondestructive test of thermophysical properties of materials two heat detectors and energy source ( measurement head ) are moved above tested specimen without action of energy source on it, first heat detector measures temperature on surface of tested specimen and electric thermometer measures ambient temperature at same time. Obtained results are used to determine coefficient equal to product of coefficients of degree of blackness of surface of tested specimen and transparency of environment separating surface of tested specimen and measurement head. Then tested specimen is subjected to action of heat pulses from point mobile energy source, pulse-frequency modulation of laser beam being carried out by means of optical shutter. Facility for contact-free measurement of thermophysical properties of materials includes point mobile heat energy source and heat detector focused on surface of body, subtracter, power amplifier, reversible motor, microprocessor, mechanism of movement of energy source and heat detector with reference to tested specimen. It is supplemented with second heat detector coupled to first heat detector and energy source ( laser ), electric thermometer, amplifier, three analog-to-digital converters, digital-to-analog converter, controlled frequency divider, optical shutter, clock pulse generator and indicator. EFFECT: raised precision of method. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
