NEARLY VISIBLE RADAR FINDER Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01S13/44

Abstract RU 2343500 C1

FIELD: physics; radio.

SUBSTANCE: nearly visible radar (R) finder refers to measurement technology and can be used in passive radar including radio intelligence. The declared device contains four primary antennas and four auxiliary antennas. The primary and auxiliary antennas are arranged to provide paired alignment of directional patterns. Outputs of each pair of the first and sixth, second and seventh, third and eighth, fourth and ninth primary and auxiliary antennas are connected to related correlator. Output of each of four correlators is connected to sum- difference device. Finally near visible radars are noticeable, as is reached technical result.

EFFECT: possibility to form reference signal that is equivalent to optimal filter therefore potential accuracy of angular data measurement, as well as in active radars depend on signal drive, rather than on peak power.
