FIELD: physics; radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to radar engineering and can be used mainly in aircrafts. The specified result is reached due to the fact that radar transponder contains at least two transmitting-receiving antennas and corresponding transmitting-receiving paths each of which includes series separation filter, receiver and antenna marker connected, from one side to of receivers, and from the other with one output to decoder and with second output to parallel switching toggles of asynchronous code switches of interrogation and response signals on control board, and coder input of which is connected to output of decoder, and outputs of which are connected to transmitters connected to the second input of separation filters of corresponding transmitting-receiving paths. Code switches of interrogation and response signals are connected by channels to inputs of decoder and coder corresponding for each position of the switch.
EFFECT: design simplification and higher reliability with reduced mass and dimension parameters.
