FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering specifically to electric machines and can be used in electric drives with forward or reciprocating movement of actuating elements where in addition to deep speed regulation, increased rated power is required. Linear induction motor comprises inductor with three-phase winding and secondary element in the core of which main and additional grooves are made to lay mutually insulated rods closed at one end by common bus. At the other end they are closed by moving element containing insulating and electroconductive portions. Electroconductive portion has form of comb projections of which are equal in width to main and additional grooves and include electroconductive and insulating portions. Projection height is equal to 2hg, where hg is groove height. Projection portions of main grooves at height hg to 2hg are electroconductive. At height of 0 to hg they are covered with insulating layer. Portions of additional grooves at height of 0 to hg are electroconductive. At height of 0 to 2hg they are covered with insulating layer. Comb bus is covered with insulating layer. Height of each projection is increased by hg by adding to it elctroconducting portion with height hg and is equal to3hg. Moving element is equipped with rack connected with gear-wheel.
EFFECT: extension of range for speed and rated power regulation.
