FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology.
SUBSTANCE: spend puncture and lavage of the damaged nasal sinus of 0.9% solution of Sodium chloridum to pure washing waters. Then enter a microirrigator, perform aeration of sinus and enter 5 ml of 5% Mexidol. Further spend repeated lavages of a sinus with aeration and introduction of Mexidol. Daily, since the second day of treatment, estimate mucociliary transport of a mucosa of a nasal cavity from lesion. At achievement of the mucociliary clearance of 26.35±2.13 mm for 15 minutes, stop treatment.
EFFECT: restriction of membranodestruction action of inflammatory process on mucosa and fast restoration of function of ciliary epithelium, rising of efficiency of treatment and prevention of transition of inflammatory process in the chronic form.
