FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for treatment of diseases of hepatobiliary the system, proceeding with a toxicosis and autoimmune process use a carbon haemosorbent which has on the surface volume of mesopores of 0.17-0.35 cm3/g, volume of micropores of 0.03-0.05 cm3/g and macropores of 0.06-0.10 cm3/g at total volume of all pores of 0.26-0.50 cm3. Also the sorbent contains functional oxygen groups in number of 0.04-0.05 mEq/g.
EFFECT: increased adsorption of toxic substances with average molecular mass of 500-5000 D and nitrogen-bearing toxins in particular bilirubin.
