FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: electrostatic trap is intended for dust flow stopping and dust escape prevention. Electrostatic trap includes receiving and discharge electrode system. Receiving electrodes are blocks with front mesh wall, side and top edges of non-magnetic material, and ferromagnetic back wall. Lower edge is absent to allow dust particles into the dust collection tank. Receiving electrodes are mounted parallel, with discharge electrode in the form of needle-point electrode system and semi-circular mesh-form element connecting discharge electrodes between them.

EFFECT: improved dust flow treatment quality, reduced power and material cost and cost of receiving electrode cleaning.
