FIELD: engine and pumps; electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electric filter contains a diffuser and a confuser arranged on the filter inlet and outlet, respectively, a precipitation and a corona-forming electrodes arranged in the casing using the suspicion system, a shaking mechanism and a power supply. The corona-forming electrodes are grouped in parallel to precipitation electrodes and asymmetric relative to each other with an equal spacing between groups making at least the length a group. The corona-forming electrode groups are shifted relative to the gas channel axis by not over 0.25 of the said channel width.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of dust separation.
