FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production techniques of carbon-bearing fire-resistant products and can be used in chemical engineering, and in electrode and electrotechnical industry. Declared carbon-bearing fire-resistant product contains following components, wt %: thermoanthracite of fraction, mm: (-0.5+0), (-1.25+0) and (-2.50+1,25) - 40-55, graphite of fraction, mm: (-0.5+0) and -(-1.25+0) - 20-35, coal tar pitch 16-21, silicon carbide of fraction -0.071 mm - 8-15, metal silicon of fraction -0.071 mm - 5-8, powder aluminium oxide 0.8-1, powder iron 0.8-1. Bulk components in ratio and fraction size specified above are heated to 104-120°C, added with pitch heated to temperature 140-150°C and aggitated within 30-45 minutes. Then using extruder, mixture is moulded for blast-furnace blocks 600×600×3000 at pressure 50 kg/cm2 and temperature 135°C. The blocks are thermally processed in gas box furnace at temperature in gas phase 1200-1300°C within 400-450 hours and then cooled in furnace within 6 days.
EFFECT: production of high-density microcellular carbon-base material, as well as lower energy intensity and time of material production process.
