FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to method of alkylaryl compounds production including interaction of C10-14-monoolefine mixture and aromatic hydrocarbon with alkylation catalyst resulted in formation of alkylaromatic compounds. C10-14-monoolefines are actually those with at most one methyl branching and upon the average less than 5% of methyl branching in 2, 3 and 4 positions counting from chain ends of the longest carbon chain.
EFFECT: prolonged catalyst service life, and improved quality of slightly branched alkylbenzol.
