METHOD OF INCOMPETENT ROCKS DRIVING IN WELL DRILLING Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E21B7/00 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of oil and gas wells drilling, namely to methods for prevention of well walls damage and collapse in drilling of intervals with incompetent rocks. Method comprises well deepening in interval of layer with incompetent rocks and reinforcement of well walls in specified interval by profile shutters. Deepening of interval with incompetent rocks and reinforcement of well walls are done by subsequent sections. Length of section is selected so that incompetent rocks do not collapse in process of chisel lifting and installation of profile shutter. Installation of profile shutters is done with overlapping with subsequent reduction of internal diameter of installed profile shutters in working position at deepening with expansion of well shaft at the first section of layer interval or in a butt joint at subsequent deepening with expansion of all sections of well shaft.

EFFECT: exclusion of emergency situations related to collapse and/or break of incompetent rocks, provision of method simplicity and cost production.
