SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method of reducing energy of lateral lobes of impulse, which presents auto-correlation of the original sweep signal, which lies in profiling instantaneous frequency of the initial sweep signal, in this case the specified instantaneous frequency is a non-linear function of time t, and the instantaneous frequency represents a polynomial of degree n; and auto-correlation of the initial sweep signal.

EFFECT: possibility of obtaining impulses of seismic signals with minimal energy of lateral lobes with the simultaneous stimulation of two or more sources.
