FIELD: medicine; orthopedics and traumatology.

SUBSTANCE: device includes hollow cylindrical rod, guide wire, cannuled core of conical form, and reducing work element made of shaped sectors. Each shaped sector consists of three parts, base part in the form of level surface, middle part gradually enlarged along cylindrical rod arc in direction of base part, and bottom part in the form of conical legs. Assembled base parts of shaped sectors have common centre and diametre equal to internal diametre of the rod. Internal surface of middle part of shaped sectors has oval slot for guide wire. Reducing work element is positioned inside the cylinder rod. Cannuled core can move along guide wire inside the device to shift shaped sectors along guide wire, so that shaped sectors can extend and spread outside the rod.

EFFECT: possible adjustment of reducing area size, gradual filling cavity formed for device insertion, and device insertion directly under embedded fragment along guide wire.
