SUBSTANCE: cast iron contains the following components, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.5; silicon 2.0-2.5; manganese 2.0-2.5; titanium 0.01-0.03; copper 0.2-0.3; nickel 0.5-0.9; barium 0.001-0.015; molybdenum 0.2-0.3; hafnium 0.9-1.1; cobalt 0.3-0.5; antimony 0.001-0.015; boron 0.05-0.1; iron - the balance.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance of cast iron items.
