FIELD: metallurgy industry, electrolysis.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices intended for thermal decontamination of anode gases of electrolysis aluminium manufacture. Device consists of a burner with slots meant for air inflow, and a stabiliser-mixer. Fire-resistant cylindrical blocks with protrusions provided on internal surface are installed heightwise as a stabiliser-mixer inside the burner. Slots are rectangular-shaped and have thickened walls, and are directed inside the burner at a sharp angle to the tangent to its external surface. Outside the burner there installed is a swivel ring with trapezoidal-shaped holes meant for air flow control. In upper part of the burner there leakproof installed is a detachable cover, and for extracting flue gas there installed is a side horizontal connection pipe.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of burning hazardous substances of anode gases, and stabilising burner operation.
