FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of construction, to be more exact - to construction of foundations in earthquake localities. The proposed method of constructing pile-and-slab foundations of high-rise structures envisages arrangement of a pit as deep as required for the foundation convex slab embedment. There is a pile field arranged by way of embedding piles in the pit profiled bottom with the central piles penetrating at the depth rated and the peripherical ones - at a shallower depth and stepwise relative to each other. Long- and cross-sectionally the pit bottom is represented by a set of circles forming an ellipsoid concave bowl for the foundation elongated slab, a cylindrical surface for the foundation extensional slab and a spherical bowl for the round and square foundation slab. At the pit base piles are embedded at a depth delineated by circles identical to the pit profile ones with the pit profile circles radii and the base outlines of the pile shoe field calculated under the relationships quoted.

EFFECT: enhancement of the foundation bed bearing capacity; improvement of the structure overall seismic resistance.
