FIELD: construction, pipeline.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to pipe joint. Pipe joint comprises female element that contains internal thread and male element that contains external thread. External thread is arranged to provide possibility of threaded interaction with internal thread. External surface of female element has helical groove in it. Method of lock joint comprises selection of external diameter for female element, which makes it possible for lock joint to have exceeding selected bending strength coefficient. Helical groove is shaped on external surface of female element so that helical groove reduces bending strength coefficient, approximating it to selected value of bending strength coefficient. Internal thread is shaped on internal surface of female element. The other method female element manufacture includes shaping internal thread on internal surface of cylinder and shaping helical groove on external surface of cylinder. Mostly helical groove is installed with advance of internal thread by phase.
EFFECT: higher reliability of joint.
