SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling of oil and gas wells, in particular to percussion drilling tools. Drill rod comprises a first connection interface at a first end and a second connecting interface at a second end. First connection interface is for connection of the drill rod to the second connecting interface of a similar drill rod or to a device with hydraulic control. Second connection interface is for connection of the drill rod to the first connecting interface of a similar drill rod or to a fluid communication device. Hydraulic component in the first connection interface contains a working fluid path of the hydraulic system and has an outlet for the working fluid at its end. Hydraulic component in the second connection interface contains a working medium flow path and has an inlet for the working fluid at its outwardly directed end. Working fluid path in the hydraulic components forms part of the flow path passing through a drill rod between the connection interfaces. When the drill rod is connected to a similar drill rod or to a hydraulically operated device or a fluid supply means, an outlet for the working fluid of at least one hydraulic component in the first connection interface is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet for at least one hydraulic component in the second connection interface. Seal is provided between the hydraulic components without overlapping between the hydraulic components in the axial direction of the drill rod.

EFFECT: pressure losses and fluid loss at the connection interfaces are minimized, higher reliability of the device.
