FIELD: physics, radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to be applied in radio engineering, specifically: in radiolocation, radio-control systems, communication and in arts aimed at high-stable SHF signal generation. Technical result is ensured by that coaxial magnetron contains female anode and the coaxial resonator, coaxial couples partitioned with cylindrical-type slotted diaphragm. The external cylindrical-type diaphragm of coaxial resonator or external cylindrical-type diaphragm and one or two rigidly attached end walls of coaxial resonator are made of materials with smaller thermal expansion coefficient, than that of materials of the other resonator parts. Walls made of materials with smaller thermal expansion coefficient are interspaced from other adjoining resonator parts and magnetron body. If external cylindrical-type diaphragm of coaxial resonator or external cylindrical-type diaphragm and one or both rigidly attached end walls are made of molybdenum or ceramics, specified partitions are coated from internal side with copper of thickness not exceeding 0.2 partition thickness, but not less than 2-3 thickness of copper skin-layer on magnetron operating frequency.
EFFECT: higher thermal frequency stability.
