FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for powering a.c. electrical machines. D.C.-to-D.C converter includes input filter, single-phase half-bridge voltage inverters, isolating transformers, bridge rectifier, LC - filter and three-phase voltage inverter. The passive absorbing circuit is used in inverters for each switch. The diode-condenser circuit ensures low du/dt values and low losses for switching. Recuperative circuit based on transformer and diodes ensures power return from absorbing circuit to d.c. capacitors. The circuit is provided with high efficiency factor and allows for using and pulse and time modulation algorithms.
EFFECT: improved converter reliability by reducing du/dt values, switching overvoltage, switching losses and electromagnetic interference.
