FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method for separation of extruded material portion from continuous strip leaving the extruder consists in passage of extracting device in front of escape hole, and this extracting device is connected by at least one cutting element so that every portion separated by at least one cutting element is caught by appropriate cavity of extracting device, and then portion from extracting device is supplied into cavity of mould of compression moulding die. At that extracting device is arranged with the possibility of displacement independently on at least one cutting element, at extracting device and at least one cutting element have velocities, vectors of which differ from each other. Installation for separation of extruded material portion from continuous strip leaving extruder comprises escape hole of extruder and extracting device connected to at least one cutting element that moves in front of escape hole so that every portion separated by at least one cutting element is caught by appropriate cavity of extracting device. Compression moulding die has mould cavity for reception of portion from extracting device. Extracting device is arranged with the possibility of displacement independently on at least one cutting element, at that at least one cutting element and extracting device are arranged so that they have velocities, vectors of which differ from each other.

EFFECT: provision of simple and accurate cutting of measured portion of material, especially, the last portion of material for prevention of its breakaway.
