SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a mould for direct pressing of plastic portions when making covers closing tanks, to installation for direct pressing of plastic portions and closing element for container. Bottom wall of the cover or at least one of its parts is very thin. Mould consists of two half-moulds movable in axial direction relative to each other and made with possibility of being in fully closed position without portion of material, and tubular element made with possibility of sliding around second half-mould, partially limiting cavity. Tubular element in fully closed position of first and second half-moulds by one side contacts with axial stop of first mould, and other side - with axial end stopper of second half-mould to prevent rigid contact between half-moulds. Plant for direct pressing of plastic portions comprises at least one extruder, means of separating plastic portion from extruder and at least one rotary carousel.

EFFECT: technical result achieved by using a group of inventions is to prevent rigid contact between wet surfaces of two half-moulds, including without plastic at moulding stage.
