FIELD: packing industry.
SUBSTANCE: container for confectionary product comprises tray and cover joined to tray by means of lock joint. Lock joint is arranged as contour and is shaped by a voluminous annular ledge of tray that stretches along tray perimetre is arranged as S-shaped in cross section with lower and upper horizontal shelves, which are oriented outside and upwards relative to tray perimetre, and also voluminous annular ledge of cover that stretches along cover perimetre and is arranged as S-shaped in cross section with upper and lower horizontal shelves, which are oriented outside and upwards relative to cover perimetre. S-shaped ledge of cover follows S-shaped ledge of tray for the possibility to fix cover on tray by means of tight fitting of S-shaped cover ledge in S-shaped tray ledge on internal side of this ledge.
EFFECT: improved reliability of cover and tray joint.
