SOIL MODIFIER OF PROLONGED ACTION AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C05F11/02 C05F3/00

Abstract RU 2345976 C2

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and forestry and can be used to produce fertile soil layer with high humus content, high fermentation activity and improved agrochemical and agrophysical characteristics, it can be used in settlement landscaping as well. The soil modifier of prolonged action contains peat, a promoting agent - potassium humate and additionally finished compost produced by aerobic fermentation of the mixture of the cattle litter manure, litter poultry droppings and peat. The soil modifier contains a mechanically activated peat fraction with particles 40-50 mcm in size with the following ratio of components: compost 10-20%, mechanically activated peat fraction 1-2%, potassium humate 1-2%, peat - the remaining part, as a humification activating agent. Method of the soil modifier production involves preliminary manufacturing compost from the cattle litter manure, litter poultry droppings and peat, mixing the obtained compost under the room temperature with the mixture of the crushed high-moor and low-moor peat, recrushing the mixture up to the particles 0.5-1 mm in size. Afterwards the mixture is screened through a vibrating sieve separating fraction of more than 1 mm in size; the mechanically activated peat fraction with particles 40-50 mcm in size is additionally introduced into the produced mixture and mixed for 15-25 minutes under the room temperature.

EFFECT: production of ecologically clean highly efficient soil modifier of prolonged action with high content of humus, beneficial microflora, macro- and micronutrients.
