METHOD FOR MODIFICATION OF POLYAMIDE FIBERS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC D06M13/50 D06M15/61 D06M101/34

Abstract RU 2346095 C1

FIELD: textile fabrics, paper.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production technology of modified fire-resistant polyamide fibers and may be used in textile industry, in aircraft construction and motor industry, rubber industry and for other special purposes. Method of modification includes treatment of polyamide fibers by phosphor-containing compound with further drying and thermostatting. Phosphor-containing compound used is product of interaction of 15-25% aqueous solution of methyl phosphite borate and polyethylene polyamine at their mass ratio of methyl phosphite borate - 15-25, water - 85-75, polyethylene polyamine - 0.9-1.8. Treatment is done at 20°C for 1 minute with further drying in air and thermostatting for 30 minutes at 100°C.

EFFECT: simplification of modification process, higher fire resistance of fibers, strength and resistance to thermal-oxidative destruction, higher strength of polyamide fiber bond with rubber on the basis of chloroprene rubber.
