FIELD: construction, highway engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of road repair works, namely to repair of asphalt carpets, and may be used in repeated application of asphalt concrete. Method for manufacture of filler for asphalt concrete mixture includes breakage of crushed asphalt concrete with its further grinding and use of produced components as raw material for production of asphalt concrete. Old asphalt pieces are crushed in hammer mill, breaking armor of which is located on internal side of body downstream loading port relative to direction of rotor and hammers rotation, at that breakage continues until size of asphalt concrete particles does not exceed 20 mm with separation of crushed asphalt concrete into fractions of 5-20 mm and 0-5 mm with further crushing in electromagnet grinder in alternating magnetic field with intensity from 35 to 65 kA/m and frequency from 35 to 100 Hz of 0-5 mm fraction to produce materials of 0-1.2 mm and 1.2-5 mm fractions. Installation for method realisation is also described.

EFFECT: reduction of prepared asphalt concrete components prime cost compared to initially used ones, and also optimisation of old asphalt concrete regeneration process.
