SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition with combined axial and circular hitting fields. The proposed shell incorporates a cartridge case with explosive charge, fragmenting enclosure, fragmenting unit consisting of hitting elements, device to launch the said fragmenting unit, forward or back, comprising a pyrotechnic burster charge and a contract-trajectory detonator. The fragmenting unit the said pyrotechnic burster charge are arranged at the bottom of a tube aligned with the shell axis. The aforesaid detonator has a pyrotechnic channel communicating with the pyrotechnic burster charge and the detonation channel communicating, in its turn, with the explosive charge. The detonator is designed to make the pyrotechnic and detonation channels operate with a time interval that will ensure a maximum probability of hitting the target.
