FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition. Proposed projectile comprises shell with nose electronic-contact fuse and screw-in bottom, set of cylindrical splinter subprojectiles arranged inside the shell. Aforesaid subprojectiles feature flat bottoms and diametre equal to the shell ID. The projectile comprises also luster powder charge arranged between the fuse and aforesaid set of splinter subprojectiles. Note here that every subprojectile comprises explosive charge and fuse. Both flat bottoms of subprojectile allow producing preset weight splinters. Note here that the projectile head wall thickness makes, at least, 0.1 of projectile caliber, while subprojectile fuses are arranged displaced relative to subprojectile axes and furnished blast time delay elements, the delay time being different for all subprojectiles. Note also that aforesaid elements incorporate inertial starting mechanisms.
EFFECT: higher hitting ability.
