FIELD: physics, tests.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test engineering, in particular to brake arrangements and can be used in test benches for unit impact test. Device comprises a hammer head allowing the unit under test to be fixed, a profiled tip and a cylindrical reservoir filled with fluid into which the tip is introduced with a certain initial velocity. The tip profile depends on the total weight of the hammer head with the tip and the unit under test, reservoir radius, density of the fluid used and characteristics of the acceleration pulse necessary for testing.
EFFECT: providing for reliable and accurate application of the acceleration pulse to the unit under test at arbitrary angle to the horizon with the form and level of the acceleration pulse being arbitrary and specified in advance.
