SUBSTANCE: invention deals with control of graphical data for high-density recording media. Recording medium with data structure enabling control over reproduction of the graphical data recorded thereon contains graphical information area that includes at least single segment of information on the graphical images representation and at least single segment of information on the palette corresponding to the previously mentioned segment(s) of information on the graphical images representation. Each palette information segment contains data on the colours available. Each segment of information on the graphical images representation contains representation data including palette ID, for reproduction of graphical image(s), with the palette information segment containing ID providing for identification of each palette. Reproduction information is indicative of a palette information segment due to the ID above-mentioned.
