FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: capacitive current generator is designed to find application in the sphere of tool engineering in general and microelectronics in particular. The generator consists of two variable electric capacitors interconnected via an electric circuit in phase opposition to each other in such a way that their capacitance values are the minimum and the maximum accordingly. Each capacitor is composed of two ferroelectric plates (electrets) with layers of electrically conductive material applied onto their outer surfaces. The plates conjugated surfaces have tooth elements with their crests oriented perpendicular to the relative movement direction. The both electrodes are capable of both progressive and rotary movement relative to each other, the electric circuit containing elements providing for operation in the charge self-excitaton mode.
EFFECT: enhancement of the capacitive current generator specific power.
