FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrostatic converter of mechanical energy with a solid movable conductive charge carrier using a metallized electret film, and can be used to convert mechanical energy into a capacitance of thin-film capacitors. An increase in the efficiency of mechanical energy conversion is a technical result of the invention, which is achieved due to the fact that the device contains a package of at least two flat pre-stretched polymer electret films metallized on one side with a thickness of 5-8 microns, fastened together through an elastic gasket, with holes for air outlet, wherein the first film is fixed on a rigid plate, on which two contact pads are located, to which a control unit is connected for switching electrical energy when the capacity of the package increases. Under mechanical action on the upper plate, the package is compressed, which leads to a change in the electrical capacitance of the converter, which increases.
EFFECT: after removing the mechanical force, the package returns to its original state due to the elastic forces arising from the deformation of the stretched film and elastic gaskets, which leads to a decrease in capacity.
