SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to electromechanical energy conversion devices and can be used in industry, transport, household appliances, aeronautics and other fields of human activity, replace existing inefficient internal combustion engines and electric induction electromagnetic machines. In the electric field propulsor, containing in the dielectric medium mechanically interconnected turned relative to each other by the angle movable straps of the electric capacitor. One of said straps is made so that part of its surface evenly covers outer non-working surface of the other one.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency and simplified design.
