SUBSTANCE: invention deals with wireless communication devices. With battery-powered device (such as mobile phone) generator controlled by voltage of integrated circuit may be designed to enable wide frequency range adjustability using but a comparatively narrow control voltage range. Temperature compensation of the voltage-controlled generator amplitude-frequency characteristic is to be provided for through application of a voltage varying depending on the source temperature to the varactors (310a-310b) forming part of the voltage-controlled generator resonance circuit. The varactor base ends may be powered from a temperature-dependant voltage source (370, 380) whose temperature dependence essentially compensates for that of the varactor. The temperature-dependant voltage source (370, 380) may be represented by absolute temperature proportional voltage device. The voltage-controlled generator is composed of a substrate CMOS structure generator, a substrate oscillation circuit of the integrated circuit and at least a single varactor pair (310a, 310b, 320a, 320b) connected to a shared anode.

EFFECT: generator wide frequency range adjustability.
