SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmic surgery. Anatomo-topographic ratio of structures of iridociliary zone is determined by ultrasonic biomicroscopy. Prominence of root zone of iris is detected. Configuration of eye posterior chamber is determined. Depth of eye posterior chamber, distance between posterior iris surface and anterior eye lens surface, area of posterior chamber section are determined. If simultaneously fixed are prominence of root zone of iris, presence of triangular form of posterior chamber, depth of posterior chamber is within the interval from 0.62 mm to 0.94 mm, distance between posterior iris surface and anterior lens surface is within the interval from 0.35 mm to 0.56 mm, area of posterior chamber section is within the interval from 1.26 mm2 to 1.73 mm2, conclusion about presence of indications for performing surgical operation by peripheral laser iridectomy is made.
EFFECT: method allows to determine indications for carrying out surgical operation in case of primary angle-closure glaucoma with relative pupil block.
