METHOD OF INTRAOCULAR CORRECTION OF LENS SUBLUXATION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61F9/07

FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: conjunctiva is incised in sector opposite to lens fixation. Square superficial scleral graft is formed with its base to limb. Cornea is tunnelling incised. In anterior capsule, eccentric rounded aperture is formed. After lens is aspirated, intraocular lens and one arch are implanted intracapsularly. The second arch is lined and inserted behind iris in sector opposite to lens fixation. In scleral bed, sclera and vascular membrane are sequentially incised in projection of iridociliary groove in parallel with limb. Through incision within flat part of ciliary body, stitch fixing arch is captured and delivered to incision. Basic element of IOL is delivered onto scleral bed surface and fixed to sclera. Superficial scleral graft is lied on its place and sutured.

EFFECT: more reliable and stable intracapsular fixation of IOL and lower risk of its disposition, inclination of a optical part, reduced probability of inflammatory complications in the remote postoperative period.
