SUBSTANCE: system comprises adsorber 1, in which volatile organic compound contained in processed gas is adsorbed by absorbent, and then desorbed by pressurised water vapour and mixed with it. System also comprises gas turbine 2 with combustion chamber 5, where water vapour mixed with volatile organic compound is burnt down, and also steam generator 3, which generates water vapour by means of heat produced by gaseous combustion products exhausted from gas turbine 2. Compressed air from gas turbine 2 is supplied to adsorber 1 for suppression or prevention of water vapor condensation during desorption. Prior to desorption, according to one version, water vapour may be heated by compressed air, and according to the other version - water vapour is mixed with compressed air, and this mixture is used for desorption.
