FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gas containing volatile organic compounds is fed into purification vessel 11 and, via baffle 13, into outer chamber. Volatile organic compounds are adsorbed by active carbon layer 12. Vessel 11 is placed into jacket 19, whereto waste gas is fed from combustion chamber 6. Temperature of vessel 11 is kept constant. Volatile organic compound is desorbed at high pressure by feeding steam into outer chamber of vessel 11 and, thereafter, into inner chamber via previously mentioned baffle. Waste steam containing volatile organic substances is fired in combustion chamber 6.
EFFECT: maximum efficiency, steam condensation suppression during desorption.
